AFFIRMATIONS FROM THE BOOK OF PSALMS

The covenant name of God was usually translated from the Hebrew as "LORD" using capital letters in the King James Old Testament. In the present edition the name is so capitalized whenever the covenant name is quoted in the New Testament from a passage in the Old Testament. Pronouns referring to Him, including You, Your, and Yours are capitalized, clearly distinguishing the divine from human persons in a passage, while preserving reverence for Him.
Titles for the LORD have the first letter in each word capitalized. ex. Savior, Redeemer, Creator, Holy One, King, etc.)

The following are Bible examples of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. These phrases have been taken from the book of Psalms.

a shield for me
My glory
the One who lifts up my head
the righteous God
a just judge
A refuge
the portion of my inheritance and my cup
my strength
the horn of my salvation, my stronghold
my support
my shepherd
the strength of my life
the saving refuge of His anointed
my helper
rock of refuge
my hiding place
my helper and my deliverer
the God of my life
my exceeding joy
a very present help in trouble
our guide even to death
my defense
my God of mercy
a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy
a father of the fatherless, a defender of widows
the strength of my heart and my portion forever
the great God and the great King above all gods
He who keeps Israel
your shade at your right hand
my portion in the land of the living
my high tower
